Our rooms are on the third floor of Maidstone Community Support Centre at 39–48 Marsham Street. Members have access to a classroom and breakout area for design, learning and group work, plus a small workshop room for practical making. Kitchen and toilet facilities are available in the building, and the centre’s canteen is open on weekdays. Meeting rooms and halls can also be hired when a larger project, workshop or community event needs more space.
Arrange a visit to see the rooms, discuss your project and learn about induction, training and membership options before using the workshop.
Prepare a design, work with materials and explore laser cutting and engraving. Projects include personalised signs, layered artwork, lanterns, stamps and lino printing blocks.
Develop designs for making and prototyping. Our beginner CAD programme introduces TinkerCAD, Cura and Fusion 360, with practical skills for 3D printing and digital fabrication.
Shared laptops, displays and digital tools help people take part in creative learning without needing to own specialist equipment. Ask the team about current availability and access requirements.
